Microphones

We’ve got enough great microphones and preamps for anything you can fit in the live room. As much as we all love vintage Neumanns, years of spit and smoke and cleanings have taken their toll on most of the capsules, and the vagaries of 50+-year-old power supplies and rapidly dwindling supplies of tubes that haven’t been made in decades led us to focus mostly on modern microphones when filling our mic locker. We’ve got some vintage clones, some modern classics, a lot of sweet and warm sounding ribbons, and a few unique mikes that don’t get a lot of use but are sometimes the perfect thing to fit a difficult track right into the mix.
